Will Gerstein received a performance degree in Classical Guitar Studies from the Ecole Francaise de Guitare in Paris, France in 1982. Upon returning to the United States he continued with his training at the Musicians Institute where he received a degree in Guitar Performance and specialized in studio guitar training.

At M.I.T. he studied with some of the greatest guitarists of our time - Joe Pass, Robben Ford and Joe Diorio to name a few. He has been an active guitarist in the Los Angeles area for the past twenty-five years dividing his time between recording for various studio projects and live work as both a leader and a sideman.
